Thanks to everyone for the kind wishes. I’m having a good day, and yes, I will be celebrating all week. Waking up to the sound of rain was delish.
Me: Can you believe how old I am?
My Mom: No, honey, I can’t.
FB is helping to make this a fun birthday, even though the big report I’ve been working on for the last several weeks is due tomorrow and that has thrown a spanner in the plans to celebrate today. See above, “all week.”
Did you see (again on FB) page that Karen Bass wished me a happy birthday? I don’t even live in her district! Makes me feel like a rock star. I do love me some Lancers. Our Miss Havisham worked her gramophone magic. My ever funny #2 son wished me a happy birthday and a “Happy Jesus Zombie Day.” Feel the love, people. Feel the love.
The Scout fixed salmon glazed with soy-ginger sauce and wilted spinach for lunch. He’s a wizard in so many ways.
Thanks again for the gifts, calls, cards, and FB greetings. Thanks to you, this birthday ending in “OH!” is sucking a lot less than I thought it would is splendid.
You’re still a spring chick, pookie! I’m jealous that you have a man who cooks!
My mom and I had the EXACT conversation! WELCOME to the OH year = )
Happy big 30!!
Hee hee, Cafe beat me to it.
Happy Burfday!
Happy birthday. Who’s your stylist?
That ensemble has The Scout written all over it.
Happy belated burfday. Time travels backwards?
