I almost didn’t post that creepy camera photo yesterday, because we are under surveillance more than we know. London and the rest of the UK are covered with closed-circuit television cameras, and I’m sure other cities are as well.
But gosh darn it, last night between 9:30 pm and midnight, our 1991 Toyota Camry was stolen. Poof! No sign of break-in, no broken glass. If I could, I would love to see that video, and catch the finks who took it.
The car was parked on the street in Glendale, opposite Glendale Presbyterian Church. My son, who is the primary driver of the car, had gone for a pint with his lads. Normal Friday night stuff. Walking back from the watering hole, he noticed the car was gone the minute he turned the corner of the street it was on. Nothing left but a big vacant space. Poof!
So that brings my total to two cars gone in slightly over three weeks. I’m just getting past that sick-to-my-stomach feeling–and moving on to numbness.
