It’s the Real Thing

Why is this night different from all other nights?

Because we get to drink Coke made with sugar, as God intended, and not that wicked high fructose corn syrup that Pharoah (aka “The Man”) wants us to drink.

Let me know if you find some. (via Bruce Feiler)

  1. What corn has to do with not having time to let the dough rise before Pharaoh changes his mind about the whole “letting my people go” business, I’ll never know. 🙂

  2. Bang on, R the K. Traditions don’t change, but circumstances do. That forces traditions to either change or die (usually quite slowly).

I’m just glad someone welcomed corn into the grain family after the fact to make Coca-Cola company go retro once a year. That HFCS is bad shit, though my grandfather did refer to sugar as “white death.”
